Arrived for a no heat issue. Evaluated system and found 3A fuse blown, replaced fuse and checked all low voltage wiring in air handler and heat pump for shorts. 没有发现. System operating normally. Signed homeowner to a Blue shield agreement. Did not charge service call, we were out on 10/17/21 for same issue.
17OCT2021 杰森B Arrived for no heat, spoke with 戴尔 about the systems history and performance. This is a Heat-pump air handler. Cycled system on at thermostat, then verified proper function at Condenser. Inspected air handler. Found 3amp fuse blown. Disconnected power at air handler. 更换保险丝. Found main power loose inside AH breakers. Tightened breakers and cycled system on. Checked all amps. System is running properly at this time.
10月4日, 2021 I arrived to a Blue Shield customer for a full tuneup upon arrival I greeted the customer I then went to the thermostat turn system to emergency heat climbed in the attic did amp drawls on the Heat kit and then amp draws on the blower motor as well as check the capacitor I then went to the thermostat turned it to regular heat went out to the heat pump did amp drawls on the compressor and fan motor checked the capacitor Checked and contactor washed condensing unit everything’s working properly at this time thank you for your business 迈克T
I arrived for a preventative customer on a new home. I inspected the system and found that the capacitor was non readable and the condenser fan motor and components were overheated. We cooler the system off and replaced the capacitor and found the system to come on and run properly.
8月18日, 2021 I arrived to a previous customer nonmember upon arrival I greeted the customer they stated that the unit would run for a little while and then it would shut off and everything will go blank check the drain line it was clogged cleaned it out then did and drawls on the blower motor check the blower will make sure it’s clean looked at the evaporator coal it is clean there’s no answer to ECM motor I didn’t went to the condensing unit I washed it thoroughly it was extremely dirty are they check the components capacitors good contactor is not pitted or burn I then started the condensing unit So that the condensing coil will dry I then check the charge unit had 7° superheat there’s a piston in the evaporator coil did Amp draw on the compressor and fan motor everything is working properly at this time thank you for your business mike t
4月8日, 2021 I arrive to the Blue Shield club member for AC tuneup upon arrival I checked the thermostat and its operations and then went up to the air handler did amp drawls check the blower motor is clean after that I went to the condenser checked all components checked contactor disassembled clean the condenser reassembled and tested operations everything is working properly at this time thank you for your business 迈克T

I arrived for a reoccurring heat pump problem. We replaced the defrost board and left the system running through the last ice storm. I arrived to find the system completely frozen over from the ice run off from the roof top to build up on the heat pump fam motor blades and prevent the blades from spinning. I defrosted the system at that time and ran the system in defrost. I arrived today and ran the system in heat pump mode and put the defrost sensor in a bucket of ice and tried to trick it into a defrost mode. I also ran the system in the test mode from the defrost board it’s self and I couldn’t get the system to go into defrost at this time. I am going to order a defrost board and a new defrost sensor. I arrived to replace the defrost board and sensor. I found the system to be completely frozen over. Once both components were replaced I ran the system and the system went into defrost by it’s self shortly after I ran the heat pump. All ice melted off and the system cycled back
I arrived for a blue member no heat call on a heat pump. I first inspected the system and found the condenser fan blade to be completely frozen over due to the snow and ice dripping onto the condenser. I made this aware to the homeowner and and explained that the defrost board dose not come with a defrost sensor and that they are two separate components. And that the system will not build up 3†of ice on top of the system when the system is running normally. The system is in the off position when the top of the system freezes over. I melted the ice off of the system with a water hose and then cycled the systems defrost mode on. The system came on on defrost and successfully melted the rest of the ice on the unit. I recommended to install a thermostat that will shut off the heatpump when the outdoor temp drops below 36-34 deg. If you decide to install this there kit please let us know and we will do our best to help you in anyway we can. Your friend at Interstate.
I arrived into a heat pump not defrosting. During inspection I put the heat pump in test mode for defrost and it would not cycle. Replaced the defrost board when I was ready to test the generator shut down the heat pump and the electric furnace in the attic so I was unable to test. Customer is going to call the support for the Generator and get back to us when he is up and running. Returned and restarted generac system. System is heating at this time.
I arrived for a blue member ac pm. I first inspected the system located in the attic and found the evaporator coil to be clean but rusted. I also checked all electrical components and found no issues with the indoor system. I then inspected the the conditioner and four the capacitor to be weak and out of manufacture range of operation. I recommended to have the capacitor replaced to prevent a breakdown in the future. The homeowner agrees to the repair and had a $25 coupon. I replaced the capacitor and checked the refegerant charge and all other electrical complaints and for no issues. I inspected the returns filterss and found the washable filters to be extremely clean and in excellent condition. Overall this system is running to the best of of its ability at this time.
I came out for an airflow issue the north east bedroom is only getting a trickle of air and the attic is staying cool. I checked the entire duct system over. I found a couple issues. The return ducts are undersized for the system. Currently has 3-12†returns, which is only 900cfm and the system needs 1600cfm. The supply plenum has a 10†duct coming off the end of the plenum which is taking most of the air and not allowing the supply plenum to pressurize and disperse the air properly. I recommend increasing the 2 main returns to 16†ducts and moving the duct off the endcap and back on to the top of the plenum.
